Autism Support

Sage Health Services provides intensive, one-to-one, in-home and clinic-based support to families and individuals who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Some of the areas that can be addressed through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) include:

  • General Behavior Management
  • Social Skills
  • Adaptive/Self-Help Skills
  • Academic Skills (Number, Letters, Shapes, Colors, etc.)
  • Communication Skills

Support Locations

Based on availability, services can be provided in different locations. These include home, clinic, and a hybrid model.

  • Clinic: Ideal for situations in which intensive supports are needed, but parents are not able to be present for the full length of the session. Also ideal for situations in which socialization is an area of concern needing to be addressed. Parents can drop off their children for 3-6 hour sessions. During these sessions one-to-one supervision is provided to each child.
  • Home: Ideal for situations in which parents prefer to be present during sessions. Also idea for situations in which issues occurring at the home are the main areas of concern.
  • Hybrid: Includes a combination of days spent working in the clinic and days working in the home. Ideal for situations in which both issues of socialization and behavior in the home are areas of concern.

It is important to note that services in these different locations are based on availability. If a family's preferred location is not available, alternative options, including being put on the waitlist, can be discussed.

Telehealth

In some situations, Sage Health Services can provide ABA service via telehealth. This occurs when an individual receives services from their home via a videoconference format. Telehealth can be utilized when a client has an internet-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer). It also depends on the client and their abilities to participate in a session via a teleconference format.
